Kirby Grange Festivities

Residents and staff at Kirby Grange care home had a very busy yet very festive few days on the run-up to Christmas.

The festivities started when we all got into the minibus for a trip to see the Christmas lights in the local area. We loved looking at all of the lights and were left feeling very festive. Later, our residents had the opportunity to watch a wonderful pantomime performance at the home. The performers were brilliant with our residents, and lots of laughter was had all round.

Our residents were then visited by the local school children who came and sang some beautiful Christmas carols. We all enjoyed singing along with them and it was lovely to meet them all.

Over Christmas, we tucked into a delicious Christmas meal at Shane Varneys in South Wigston. The food was delicious and the meal was a perfect way of bringing all of our staff and carers together to enjoy a special Christmas meal.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our fantastic team here at Kirby Grange for coming together to ensure our residents had a great buildup to Christmas. It was wonderful to see so many of our residents enjoying themselves.
