Residents Welcome Molly and Polly

Residents at Kirby Grange residential home are delighted to announce the arrival of their new furry friends – Guinea Pigs Molly and Polly!

Molly and Polly arrived at Kirby Grange residential home last week and already have a number of new admirers.

Our new family members are already very loved and have been receiving lots of cuddles and attention from our residents.

It has been proven that interacting with animals is incredibly beneficial to the elderly and those living with dementia. Caring for animals is known to help boost your mood while reducing stress and the feeling of loneliness.  

With help from our carers, residents have been enjoying looking after Molly and Polly, and look forward to petting and feeding them every day.
